Enjoy the little things.
My Botanical Studies series is about discovering the overlooked—shapes, lines, and structures we often pass by. Inspired by Haeckel’s Kunstformen der Natur and early schoolbook illustrations, it has grown into an ongoing exploration. Since 2016 I’ve been working on this project in a minimalistic high‑key monochrome style, showing botanical objects against bright backgrounds.
Yet some “models” resist and reveal their character only on dark backgrounds—those I call The B‑Sides. Each image is reduced to its essence, highlighting quiet elegance, structure, and stillness.
